About Me

My name is Noelle Voltz-Mongold (BCD), and I’m a Full Spectrum Doula serving the Shenandoah Valley, including Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Augusta County, and Charlottesville. For localities outside of my area, I offer virtual services. I am a BEST Certified Doula and a Certified Fertility Advocate. My journey into birth and reproductive support began in 2020 in Northern Virginia, where I first felt called to walk alongside individuals during some of the most powerful and vulnerable moments of their lives.

After moving to the Valley and settling into this beautiful community, I founded Embers of Empowerment Doula Services — a name that reflects my core mission: to help ignite the inner strength that already lives within you. I believe that everyone holds embers of empowerment; sometimes, we just need the right support to help those embers grow into a steady, roaring fire.

Whether you're navigating pregnancy, birth, postpartum, abortion, loss, or any part of your reproductive journey, my role is to ensure you feel empowered, heard, and respected every step of the way.

I’ve trained with organizations that deeply value inclusive, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care, including Bebo Mia and Nneka Hall, and I hold certification through BEST Doula Training. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and families who have historically had less access to or representation within doula care — including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ folks, single parents, young parents, and those navigating complex or non-traditional experiences.

At the heart of my work is the belief that support should be affirming, nonjudgmental, and rooted in your unique needs and values. You deserve a space where your voice matters and your choices are honored.
