Frequently Asked Questions

A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Doulas do not replace medical providers but work alongside your care team to support your preferences and overall well-being.
-
Research shows that continuous doula support is associated with shorter labors, reduced need for medical interventions, lower cesarean rates, and increased satisfaction with the birth experience. Many families also report feeling more confident, supported, and empowered.
-
